Aengus had yet another sleepover, this time at his friends, Tori and Ash's house. Given his hangups lately about staying at other people's houses, I was happy to see him go.
Then Noah, Jason, and I -- okay, Noah and Jason -- set up our new-to-us Bose speakers. Jason showed Noah how to do the required wiring and how all the components (turntable, receiver, etc.) went together down in the living room, then Noah moved it all up to his room. {electronics, life skills} Holy moly are those suckers loud! The whole house was shaking, lol. He's thrilled of course, so another point for Freecycle!
Noah spent some time with me multiplying fractions and getting overwhelmed and frustrated. I made him stick with it, though, and I think he understood til we were done. He'll get some more practice today. {computation}
When Aengus returned from his sleepover yesterday, he was all about hugging Noah. He's been really touchy-feely lately with certain people, which is weird... But I LOVE seeing brothers being affectionate, so I am NOT complaining!
Noah, Aengus and I played some basketball last night, {P.E.} followed by a serious music session: Noah played his guitar along to some music on iTunes while Aengus and I danced and sang. Noah and I very patiently suffered through "Right Round," Aengus's favorite song, then all hell broke loose when "1985" came on. Good times.
Later, the boys played some killing game together on the PS2, {logic, problem solving} since the XBox had to be sent in for repairs. Nothing says "brotherly love" like a killing spree. When Aengus finally went to bed, he gave Noah another hug.So. Sweet.
